Can't Stroke Below 1 pt in Adobe Illustrator CS5
You cannot stroke an object less than 1 point or fractionally because the "Align New Objects to Pixel Grid" is checked. To fix this, open a new document, under "Advanced" section, uncheck the box. See picture below. (click to enlarge)

WebP arrives, JPEG good-bye?
Google is expecting to throw in new photo format WebP, to replace JPEG format, which was used 10+ years ago for web contents. WebP ideally reduces the byte size (40% lighter) of images on the web in order to speed up the loading time while browsing.
We hope to see WebP support in Chrome in a few weeks.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photos
High Dynamic Range is an uprising trend of new photography. The result is from 3 identical photos taken with different exposures (-, normal, +). Out of an ordinary photo, it will look intense, vibrant with obvious outlines. HDR works best with still objects, like scenery or architecture in a non-windy day. Humans are the worst models. HDR can be created with any digital cameras when a tripod is used. Higher ends digital cameras have bracket setting that photographers don’t need to adjust the exposure but simply fire 3 times. Photoshop or other programs like HDR Expose, Photogenic HDR and Photomatix Pro 4.0 are primary choices. Check out more samples at: http://www.vibrantcityonline.com.
